Today I have a layout using the latest sketch for Sketches in Thyme. This week this beauty was unveiled:
My two favorite elements: circles and banners! Here is how I interpreted this sketch:
This last week has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me. I attended a family funeral and even though it was a sad time, it was also a very beautiful moment to spend with family that I don't get to see very often. It was all very emotional but also an important moment for me. So this layout was a bit therapeutic to create but I'm glad I did it.
To create this layout , I used the new nautical themed collection called Atlantic from Studio Calico. Even though I'm really not a sailor (like, at all), the colors in these papers are very soft and lovely. And how cute is that little bow?!?

Beautiful layout - great take on the sketch. Sorry for you loss. Yes family funerals are tough but sometimes you get to see distant relatives you don't normally see. Just an unfortunate circumstance to have to see them under. Def bittersweet.
